A Creative Manifesto
Why design? What drives me to continue to create strategic solutions for clients? Given the idea that a manifesto is a "public declaration explaining past actions and announcing the motive for forthcoming ones" this is what I believe:
We are all creative. Strong leadership doesn't have to be abrasive. Design Divas waste all of our time. Your input is valid. Working fast ≠ working sloppy. The person is more important than the task. Boldness can be sophisticated. There's nothing wrong with simple elegance. Tickling children and wrestling dogs is time well spent. Organization is beautiful. Family dinners matter. It's more important to be resilient than safe. Everyone has a story. Strong opinions streamline the process. Mystery, silence and beauty are necessary. White space has power. Laughter, tears and good food enrich life. Mood Boards matter. Listening first never hurt anyone. |
